About the Dog Mats

Here are just some of the uses for these mats.

In the home:

• Use in your living room or TV room so your pet can have his own spot just like you do!
• Use on the bed to keep your comforter fur and dirt free longer and also to keep your pet from crowding you off the bed! 
• Place in your home office so you can have less distraction. Get more work done knowing your pup is happy and comfortable.
• Use in the garage, bathroom or kitchen when you have to leave your dog alone. They will be happier with their own space and smells.

In the car:

• Keep your car seats fur free! No need for full seat covers or blankets to keep your car clean. 
• Let your dog know where his place is in the car by putting the mat in the back or front seat. They will be less likely to jump into your lap while you are driving!
• Place one in the back of your car for each of your dogs. They will be more ready to jump in

Traveling:

• Use as a crate pad. These are made to fit in your breed's appropriate crate size.
• In hotel rooms. Many pets can get nervous when first staying in a hotel or inn. These mats are a portable piece of home.
• Camping! This mat is so durable you can use it outside on the ground or inside the tent or camper. After it gets dirty, throw it in the washer and you are back to fresh!
• Take to work. If you are lucky enough to be able to take your dog to work, let him or her have their own space near you. This will keep them from wandering too much and disrupting work flow. Your coworkers will want to come visit your dog instead of the other way around.
• If you have to kennel your dog, you can provide the smells and comfort of home until you come back by bringing the mat along.
• Take on the airplane to keep your dog from being restless and more likely to not bother the passengers.

Health:

• Take this mat to all your vet appointments including check-ups, shots and other uncomfortable visits to provide the comfort they need.
• Take to chemotherapy and other long appointments where you will have to leave your pup for a period of time. This one is close to my heart because the first blanket was invented to comfort my corgi, Link, when he had cancer in 2019.
• End of life comfort. We do everything we can to give our pet a long and full life but you can make sure when the unthinkable time does come you can provide the ultimate comfort by letting them lie on the mat while you hold them. We did this with our Link and I am so happy we did. 
• Pass the legacy on. The vet was able to clean the blanket in their industrial washer and the mat was ready for our next chapter.

Training

• Place in the crate for crate training. Make it more fun and comfortable to let your dog sleep in the crate.
• Use for Place training. Use the mat to give a "home base" for your pet to go so you can get control of your dog.
• Bring to your pet's training classes every time so they are less nervous and more able to focus on the training. They will also be more relaxed and attentive while your instructor is talking.

Technical information

All fabrics are made from pre-washed cotton fabric on the top and on the bottom pre-washed faux sherpa fur, denim or cotton. Some may be stuffed with batting or pre-washed fleece for extra padding. Please see specifics on each mat for exact fabrics used.
